Through Simmons Serves, students are connected with meaningful volunteer opportunities at community-based organizations in the local area. Organizational partnerships may include Girls Inc., Community Servings, 826 Boston, Rosie’s Place, Jumpstart, and more!
The London Center will provide foundational trainings – through an asynchronous format – to ground students in the Simmons philosophy of community engagement through a social justice lens. Trainings will happen throughout the year, with a few in-person events to reflect on your service journey and celebrate your community impact at the end of the year. Students will be expected to attend these events, complete the trainings, and participate in service with their selected community partner.
