Our club’s mission is dedicated to providing engineering students at Simmons University with invaluable exposure and experiences before they transition into their respective engineering schools. We are passionate about empowering women in engineering by creating targeted initiatives, workshops, and programs that encourage their pursuit of engineering careers. Simmons JVP is a social and political organization for members of the Jewish community and allies who are interested in anti-Zionism and the liberation of Palestine.
We hope to create a safe space for Jewish students who are anti-Zionist or are interested in anti-Zionism, and create a space to explore the ways Judaism supports a free Palestine.
We hope to collaborate with existing social justice organizations on campus to fight for our collective liberation.

Within and throughout this struggle, we will articulate and defend the idea that true human liberation is impossible under capitalism. We seek social change which extends democracy into all aspects of life -- social, political and economic. This is the struggle for democratic socialism. Our vision of socialism is profoundly democratic, feminist, and anti-racist. We also hope to provide and foster a sincere sense of hope in the future within the Simmons and larger Boston community.
