Active Minds is an extremely important organization that should be implemented
throughout the Simmons community. A chapter of the National Active Minds
organization, Simmons Active Minds will provide valuable resources to the
community that will advocate for mental health awareness and education. By
advocating for a more thorough understanding of mental illness, we can help
create a community that is free of stigma and misinformation surrounding mental
illness. Following this, we can also help students learn how to better care for their
mental health in order to better combat mental illness early on before it takes a
large toll on the student. Active Minds will be a positive and prominent support
on campus for students and faculty alike.

Jesus Christ. Cru is a nondenominational christian org that is welcome to all!

In accordance with University policies, there will be nodiscrimination on the basis of race, religion, political views, sexual orientation, nationality, handicap, sex, etc. Both undergraduates and graduates are eligible to be members of Cru and can become members by joining a meeting and attending any number of meetings throughout the year. This Chapter may have associated members who are non-students, such as faculty and staff, community members, alumni, and Cru staff members. Associated members shall have all membership privileges except the right to vote or hold office. A member may lose the privileges of membership, including the right to attend meetings and events sponsored by Cru, if disruptive, disorderly, posing a danger, or allegedly in violation of Title IX.
