About Us

The Simmons University Literature and Writing Liaison hopes to establish stronger relationships between interested English students and faculty, foster a greater sense of community in the Department, and inspire an increased appreciation for literary pursuits throughout campus. Through weekly meetings and organized events, the Literature and Writing Liaison will connect students currently pursuing Literature and Writing degrees, guide students interested in a degree, and provide a place for all students interested in writing or literature to further explore their passions.

Members Benefits

Each year, students receive the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the liaison. While members may actively help plan events and meetings, those eager to take on more responsibility can be become executive board members. Benefits of becoming a member of the Literature and Writing include- Being active with a student organization looks great on resumes. Meet new people! Find new friends! Work one-on-one with professors in the department! Plan events that YOU want.
